We are so excited about Battle of the Books for the middle level in Pickens County this year! Battle of the Books is a competition for students to have fun reading books, then answering questions about them. Middle school students compete in teams of four to five people. There are twelve books in the program. It is up to each team to decide if they all want to read all twelve books or divide them up among the team members. Our school competition will be held on March 26th to find a winning team. The winning team will advance to compete against other teams from Pickens County at the end of the school year. The twelve books in the competition are:
