Transportation Services
The timely, safe delivery of students to and from school is a huge responsibility that requires the teamwork of bus drivers, mechanics, trainers, office personnel, and the SDPC Coordinator of Student Transportation Services on a daily basis. Drivers are thoroughly trained and attend mandatory in-service for safety and current procedures. Each regular and substitute driver must have a valid commercial driver's license with required endorsements.
All parents should inform SDPC about their transportation needs by completing the 2024-2025 Student Transportation Form
Preventive maintenance keeps the bus fleet in top condition. In addition, buses are inspected daily to ensure that all mechanical and SAFETY systems are operating properly.
If you have a question about your child's bus route, please call your area bus office.
After Hours Emergencies:
In the event of an after-hours emergency, you can reach the bus supervisors by calling 864-397-1160 and selecting "Emergency After-hours Transportation Support."
