On April 24 and 25, Mrs. Bishop and Dr. Giacci welcomed guest speaker Kim Rostick with Constituting America to their Social Studies classes. Students learned about U.S. Constitution and the rights it gives each American citizen.
Each student received a small U.S. Constitution to keep. They practiced their right to petition elected officials by writing letters to our U.S. Representative on topics they were concerned about.
Ms. Rostick also spoke to the Gettys Middle School History Club while she was here.
