For the sixth consecutive year, SDPC performed in the Top Five School Districts in South Carolina on the SAT with a score of 1079. Led by the state’s highest performing high school, DW Daniel High School, with a score of 1145, SDPC scored above state and national averages.
When it comes to ACT results, SDPC is ranked third in South Carolina! With an average of 20.9 on the ACT, SDPC is tied for third (with Greenville County Schools) among South Carolina School Districts!
The ACT is a national college admissions examination that consists of subject area tests in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. The test includes 215 multiple-choice questions with a "36" as the highest possible score. This test is offered 6 times per year in the U.S., and is usually taken during a student's junior or senior year of high school
