For the last quarter of “Dr. Roach’s All-Star Writing Contest,” five academic teachers submitted student work: Ms. Rodriguez, Mrs. Lindner, Ms. Lambright, Mrs. Konczal, and Mrs. Stubblefield.
The winners this nine weeks received a ribbon and other prizes.
1st place was awarded to Ruby Liu for her literary analysis of Black Brother, Black Brother, written in Ms. Rodriguez' and Mrs. Lindner’s class.
2nd place went to Journey Price for her argumentative essay against animal testing written in Ms. Lambright’s class.
3rd place went to Bryan Hernandez for his literary analysis of Soldier X, also written in Ms. Rodriguez' and Mrs. Lindner’s class.

A special congratulations to Ruby Liu and Abigail Wade who have both been recognized in three different nine weeks for their writing this year and to Axel Myers, Kalyana Saysongkham, and Taylor Harbin who have all been recognized in two different quarters. I would also like to give a shout out to Ms. Rodriguez and Mrs. Lindner, who co-teach two students that placed in the top three, and to Ms. Lambright, Mrs. Konczal, and Mrs. Stubblefield for having multiple students recognized this quarter.
