The School District of Pickens County is thrilled to announce the "360 Academy of Career and Innovation" applications are now open! . 360 Academy combines the best of both worlds in education - online learning and in-person experiences - to create a comprehensive, student-centered program.
Our goal is for these students to be equipped with the attitudes, skills, and knowledge to be global leaders–students who create solutions, tackle difficult problems, and affect change in their communities and beyond.
The 360 Academy of Careers & Innovation is now open for applications for the 2024-2025 School Year! We are excited that the 360 Academy will offer everything we currently have for our virtual students and more! With an emphasis on strong content instruction, cross-curricular connections, real-life and hands-on learning experiences, service learning, and student voice and choice, this program will help accelerate your child's personalized learning during grades 6-8!

Our new hybrid middle school model, 360 Academy, prepares middle school students for success by offering online learning coupled with in-person experiences tailored to each student’s interests and needs. Students attend twice monthly, in-person learning sessions and can choose to participate in a number of special interest sessions that include art appreciation, music programs, digital media, foreign language, service learning projects, movement/sports, and PLTW. Students in 8th grade can elect to participate in high school credit classes at the award-winning Pickens County Career and Technology Center.
